It is your responsibility to voice all concerns. The therapist will not take offense if you are not happy with any aspect of the session. She cannot read your mind. Every person is different concerning the techniques they like and the pressure they prefer. If anything at all is not to your satisfaction, please speak up. The therapists' main goal is to help you achieve your expectations for the massage session.
Muscular Injury Specialist is a firm believer in customer satisfaction, and believes as long as all concerns are voiced, they can be remedied.
If you are cold, say so. Blankets can be provided, or a space heater can be turned on.
If one area needs more or less pressure than another, speak up in each area. Do not be afraid to sound like your being a bother. You are not.
If the therapist is talking too much, tell her I really want to relax today. If you are usually a talker, the therapist will talk. If you want to relax, she will not talk. You control the flow of conversation.
Please do not withhold concerns and then talk badly about your experience. This does not solve anything and doesn't give the therapist a chance to improve.
